I've been figuring out Pocket Option for the third month now, and so far what confuses me most is choosing the right approach. At first, I traded only based on price levels, then I added candlestick patterns, but sometimes it turns out that there seem to be plenty of signals, yet hardly any proper entry. This is especially noticeable in the evening, when the chart starts jumping around and I can no longer tell where analysis ends and where it's simply my desire to open a trade.
I've now decided to simplify my Pocket Option trading a little: I stuck with one asset, watch the 5-minute timeframe, and record every entry in my notes. The results are more stable so far, but there are very few trades. How do you usually determine whether a strategy is suitable for the day, and when is it better to stay out altogether? Does it make sense to observe one asset for longer, or is it more useful to switch assets depending on the situation? Maybe I'm trying to complicate the setup too soon.
