I’m trying to figure out whether it’s even possible to talk about a binary options strategy with precise signals without making any grand promises. For now, I’m only looking at calm trend-following entries, checking the direction on the five-minute and fifteen-minute charts, but the results are uneven. Sometimes the signal looks clean, yet after a couple of candles the price moves in a completely different direction.

What bothers me most is the timing of the entry: if I wait for confirmation, part of the move has already happened, but if I enter earlier, there’s too much randomness. I’m keeping a simple spreadsheet for now and noticed that after three successful trades, I start rushing, and that’s when I make mistakes most often. Has anyone actually tested a similar approach over a long series rather than just a dozen trades? What do you consider a precise signal, and how do you avoid confusing it with ordinary market noise?
