I’m trying to build my own binary options setup: I look at the level on the 5-minute chart and look for an entry on the 1-minute chart after a pullback. It looked promising in historical data, but in live trading I either rush or get into a sideways market and ruin my own statistics. For now, I’ve set a fixed amount per trade, with no martingale — at least that keeps my head from boiling.
I understand that binary options and a profitable strategy are not about a couple of successful entries in a row. I want to properly test the approach over at least a hundred trades, but I haven’t figured out what is more important to filter out first: trading hours, level strength, or simply avoiding signals after a sharp candle. For those who had a similar start, what did you most often stumble on? I marked this version for myself as 7ecc1d627e.
